I am an independent consultant, researcher and all around problem solver passionate about making decision-making and action-taking for sustainable development easy. Born and raised in Canada to Czech parents, I have had the amazing opportunity to travel around the globe (Europe, South America, Australia and Asia) visiting, living, working and, most importantly, learning about other cultures, livelihoods and environments. With more than 7 years experience working with communities, businesses, universities, government and international organizations as a researcher, mentor, facilitator and project manager I have developed knowledge in areas such as:

-eco-tourism,

-small business development & micro-credit,

-capacity building & learning based change,

-community development & participation,

-developing indicators, learning & planning, and

-corporate social responsibility.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and Master of Sustainable Development in 2006, my education and diverse experience combined with critical thinking skills, an eye for detail and processes have been key for developing flexible, innovative and context specific programs and initiatives for a sustainable future.
