I am a college grad, and I studied Illustration. I hope to become a manga, or comic book artist or colorist, and create a few childrens books. I am currently the colorist to Koni Waves by Arcana Comics, issues 1 and 2.
I have 2 cats, Misty who is 10 and Oreo who is 4. Theyre always fighting and in the end, Misty usually wins. I LOVE my cats with all i have and most of my photos consist of my babies. Rusty is my adoptive cat, by my boyfriend.

This photo is chosen as a finalist by a big map publication company for Philadelphia maps call Schamp, ill let you klnow if I win. It'll be my first non- anime/drawing publication!!!

I have yet to lose a cat by death...when i was younger we had a cat, Sassy. she was given to us by our neighbors across the street who were going to throw her out to be a stray. My mom knew i wanted and loved cats dearly so she agreed to bring her in. But she urinated on every paper around...tore the hell outta the rugs in our apartment...and ate tinsel off the xmas tree one year and we had to pull it all outta her butt (we didnt know shed eat it) it was most distressing when we found a new home and we couldn't bring her with us. I said goodbye to her and cried every night, not knowing when shell be gone the next day.

Then finally one day i came home from school and my mom was on the floor with Sassy's collar with a bell on it. I cried for endless days and hours all the time. shell never leave my heart.

she took her to a no kill shelter in which my mom said she was the pettiest cat there. i was 9 or 10 and it was very traumatic.
then in our new home, we saw a cat in our neighbors window and it looked just like Sassy! so finally we got to talk to the neighbor who told us about where she got her and her name was sassy when she picked her from the shelter and so she kept it that way.

later she moved, and even though it may not have been my sassy, it was a warming feeling knowing she was maybe picked and got a wonderful home.

i feel so happy when people take in sick or injured cats because they're just like any other cat. People like that need to be noticed more...i would do it if i had my own place. Im only 20 and i live at home and im in college but i hope to one day make a BIG difference in the animal community. I am greatly inspired by Steve Irwin (crocodile hunter). i LOVED him so much, like a father and even though i never met him, i felt like we had a connection.. when he passed in Sept 06, i was bewildered for days...cried myself to sleep for a month and gave anyone the evil eye when they would laugh or say he deserved it...
