Well I basically signed up with Flickr with the intention of just having a look around. However, upon seeing the thriving community here, and pondering my own artistic drives, I decided to become an active participant and contributor and probably get a Pro account here too.

Big Update (Dec 9th 2008): My brand new shiny, fancy Canon Powershot SD850 IS has arrived! OMG, so many buttons and settings, OMG... :)...it got like the best reviews at dcresource. I can't wait to begin exploring the possibilities with this camera (right after I read the manuals from front to back - slowly, lol!). Before today I had been limited to relatively poor webcam snaps at first, lol (640 x 480 and grainier than I'd like them to be) and then photos via a very old & simple Fuji Finepix A303 (which I am grateful to have been given the use of when I needed it - thank you honey, you know who you are *hugs*).

I'm friendly but shy, so not really sure how much I want to share about myself here. I love music & art.

That's all for now, will definitely re-write this soon, lol. :p
