Finally time to write something about myself. I'm Victor Borst and The Hague is my hometown. I never was creatieve but when I got introduced to photography I found a way to express myself in my own way. When I went down-under I took an Canon Ixus 430 with me and made my first real shots, came home and I didn't picked up photography, till I bought an 400d just to try it out in Jordan and I was totally hooked.
Now I got an 5d Mark II and want to focus even more on photography and try to make a career into photography. So I'm gonna try to explore what I really want from my photography. So I will try to do some different kinda shoots and force myself to do stuff I normally wouldn't shoot.
New plans new direction....going for the Photo Academy. Made a small project about kids in Africa....first small steps into documentary work. Happy with the results and this will be one of my focus points for my applications at the academy. So hopefully I will be back at school in Februari 2010.
