I was born in Vancouver in 1971 to an anthropologist mother and a sociologist father. I grew up partly in Vancouver and partly in Hong Kong. Encouraged at an early age to take photographs, my work is strongly documentary and enthnographic in character. I live in Vancouver, and shoot projects primarily in Canada and Asia.
