Social Advocates for Youth provides support, opportunities and hope to children, youth and families. We are dedicated to creating and supporting a caring community where all children, youth and families grow, thrive and succeed.

We shelter runaway and homeless youth at our 24/7 Dr. James E Coffee House Teen Shelter.

We provide housing for former foster youth at the Mary and Jose Tamayo Village.

We feed and support homeless youth in our Street Outreach Program.

We reunite families by offering short-term crisis therapy.

We offer free counseling for Medi-Cal eligible clients ages 5-25 in our Medi-Cal Clinis and mental health counseling at school sites in Healdsburg, Cloverdale and the Sonoma Valley.

We offer group counseling for first-time teen offenders who are on probation.

We are bilingual–offering Spanish language counseling, resource referrals and family advocacy.

We offer low-cost anger management groups for teens aged 13-18 who need help finding alternatives to aggression.

We help youth find jobs at our Youth Employment Center where youth learn to write resumes, interview for jobs and seek career advice.

We help youth graduate. Opportunities Now supports youth in achieving their GED or high school diploma, and provides mentoring for youth ages 14-21 in the Sonoma Valley.

We help give youth a clean slate in our low-cost tattoo removal and community service program for ex-gang members.
