Brian has been playing sax since the age of 8, and spent time playing Louisiana funk and jazz music in New Orleans, playing jazz and rock in New York City, and finally landed in Minneapolis playing world music, funk, and gospel. Having such a diverse taste in music enabled the Snowman to tour the country with a wide variety of groups including The Samples, Grammy-nominated Excelsior Gospel Choir, Minneapolis Gospel Sound, New Primitives, The Spin Doctors, and many others.
