Although I have always, always, been one who enjoys making art and other things with my hands, it has been a long journey towards trusting myself to do it for real. Along the way I managed to attain a degree in Art History from Smith College, and another one in Industrial Design from The University of the Arts. My work-life included several stints working in nonprofit arts administration until I finally decided to stop avoiding being an artist. Now, most of my work is done at The Clay Studio in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia.

The cups, dishes, and ornaments I offer through Snowday Ceramics are meant to be given as gifts, both to ourselves and to others. They are handmade with care and attention to craft to live comfortably with us at home, or to bring an element of home wherever we are.
