Mark Wood – ML,

I have been training and leading polar expeditions teams for the past 7 years and have travelled extensively through the worst, and best of Arctic conditions.

While I will always be learning, I have refined my skills to be an effective and
efficient leader.

Of course, I have been “getting lost” most of my life; from traveling abroad and working operationally for with the British Army to perfecting extensive rescue and safety knowledge from my 10 years with the Fire and Rescue
Service.

In my free time I enjoy creating my own escapes from weekend mountaineering trips in the English Lake District to cycling across USA in 2006.

I also enjoy leading and instructing at out door education centres dealing with groups from primary school aged children to multinational companies

I am very proud that in creating Snowball Expeditions I have been able to open doors for people to experience something uniquely incredible.
