I'm not really a photographer, I'm a writer, or at least that's what I tell myself. The fact that there are now 1000s of photos on here suggests I may be deluding myself. As you can probably figure out, I'm a motorsports enthusiast with a deep involvement in British Formula Three. I'm using this site for all my photos, but am primarily enaged in finally archiving two (make that three if I can ever get the slide scanner to work) decades worth of photos taken at race circuits all over Europe (and Macau). My plan is to do all the F3 stuff first, then move on to the other formulae I've been around. There'll be some F1, F3000, Formula Fords, Formula Vauxhall/Opels, Formula Renaults and the like. I should point out that most of the photos are of the people involved, rather than on-track action shots, because what really interests me are the individuals.

I also keep non-racing photos here, just to prove I have a life outside of motorsport.

I've used a variety of cameras in the past, including four Olympus models (two OM10s, an OM2, and now my father's OM20), an elderly Canon EOS 100, as well as my camera phone (not very often), and a 1957 Leica. In November 2006 I finally went digital with a Canon EOS 400D and in June 2011 I became the proud possessor of a Canon EOS 50D - so fast it's scary!
