- I'm obsessed with photographing Buffalo (the city, not the animal or the verb), trees, water, trees near water, sunsets, sunsets near trees and/or water, flowers and other vegetation, and anything in what I think has interesting lighting.

- I pick favorites, but frequently can't figure out whether I like the portrait or the landscape shot better.

- I used to have a relatively cruddy camera that had issues with focusing, particularly in low lighting situations. It got a lot of abuse from me, mostly verbal. Occasionally, I absconded with other people's cameras, but then I would feel guilty.

- Now I have two shiny new cameras, which I've mostly learned how to use. I swear at them, too, from time to time, even though it's probably not their fault.
