In another time - I studied Fine Arts / photography.
I was never a good enough draughtsman -
to my dissatisfaction, I always had to struggle with drawing & painting.
I was much happier with my camera & using a pair of scissors & far more enjoyed the fruits of my efforts with printmaking & collage / assemblage.
In another time - I studied Art history
& enjoyed artists who deployed Chiaroscuro, such as Caravaggio & Rembrandt.
In another time .. I studied Digital Media Arts
& came to see how those artists really were tweaking the gamma settings.
Once I was a Black & White purist & a darkroom aficionado,
then I mellowed & became a sepia toning hand tinting colourist.
Once I discovered how I could try all these things on a computer & .....
In my spare time I quite enjoy :-
Studying the inside of my eyelids,
Gauging the reflectance value of averagely patinated galvanized objects.
anyways ... I asked my mate David Bowie if he had noticed any differences in my recent work
& he simply said "ch .. ch .. ch .. changes"
