I'm from a town in California that most people would hate, but I secretly love searching for the beauty it in. I'm the proud mother of a Canon 50D and yes, it is my baby.

I've always loved photography. My first camera was a pink Barbie camera I got when I was 7 or 8. One of my favorite pictures from my younger years is one I took with that camera of my dad asleep in the recliner, with a stuffed bear on his chest like it was a baby. It wasn't until the last month I really started realizing the impact photography has on my life. It makes me feel alive.

My goal for 2011 is to take a picture every day,but not just the same boring stuff over and over again. I want to expand my horizons. Do things I never expected I would. Talk to strangers, ride a roller coaster(despite my fear), and travel to random cities as far as I can afford to go. I want this year to be one big adventure that will be documented for me to remember forever.
