I'm not much of a photographer but it's hard to take a bad picture in the Yukon; beautiful scenery, the light can be astonishing at times, and the wildlife is second to none in Canada.

I'm a Deputy Sheriff with the Department of Justice, currently on "special acting assigment" with the Public Safety and Investigations Branch. I spend some of my "free time" as a Deputy Conservation Officer and do some work with the Southern Lakes Grizzly Bear Collaring Project and other stuff like aerial work for moose surveys (first job I ever got just because I can keep my lunch down during low-level flying in fixed-wing and helicopter work). I also volunteer as a Director for Whitehorse District Search & Rescue, and help coach kids soccer.

I came to the Yukon for vacation...and never left.
