Slivester Chua, 21, student, photographer, designer and soon-to-be National Serviceman (a rather proud Singaporean), is an epitome of a lone artist, who found solace in art amidst the agony that is the world in present times. Despite such emotive disposition, Sliv (as he preferred to be addressed) seeks realism and relief in surrealist themes and motifs, with the obvious use of peculiar colour schemes, with total disregard for realistic portrayal. Sliv's works are usually produced for the love of colours and beauty, not for its political correctness or approving by academic conventions.
