I am so blessed to have a great friend like you, because you truly care about the well being of humanity. Unfortunately, I have hit the absolute end of the road with Social Security, since my husband makes over 1900 (not much over) a mo., I am inelligible to receive any SSI benefits. Since I only had 4 work credits and needed 6 at the time I filed originally, I am inellible for SSDI.
