Hello and thanks for visiting my Flickr photostream.

I've been interested in photography since I was a kid. My dad had a Cannon AE-1 program and I would often take it and expose much of his film. I didn't have much success with early attempts at taking pictures but occasionally I would get lucky and capture something interesting. The more that happened the more I wanted my own camera. Finally, I got my own camera and I've been shooting ever since!

I attended The Art Institute of Atlanta in the mid 80's. My studies were in visual communications. I explored and refined my artistic abilities and photography skills quite extensively. I graduated top of my class and was the fortunate winner of an award they present for best portfolio.

Well, thirty years and three cameras later I'm still passionate about the pursuit of another inspiring picture. Sometimes I find one, sometimes I don't. I think it's the adventure that I love the most. You never know what you might find out there in the world. It reminds me of a treasure hunt.

Now, I work on a Mac for a living. Photoshop is my specialty and I spend much of my time at work making other peoples pictures look good. I've done work for Mead, Hallmark and Bush Gardens. Just to name a few. When I'm slow at work you could probably guess that I'm playing with my images.
