"What can I say? I'm a fan. Graeme's talent is evident in the successful way he navigates a wide range of subject matter and visual styles. Yet it's still recognizably him. Big thumbs up."

    China Chas says:

"Graeme is an inspiration on Flickr, especially for someone like me who is also a foreigner living in China. Not only are all his pictures very eye-catching and superbly executed, but more often than not there is a great story to go with it as well.

    Keep it up!"

"Frank O'Hara once remarked that, other than his own, he didn't really like poetry unless it was so good it forced him to admire it. I feel more or less the same about photography, and Graeme's is one of those streams that insists on being admired. I was lucky enough to discover it during my first week on Flickr, and it has been among my favourites ever since."

"Occasionally whilst browsing about on flickr, a true gem turns up amidst all that is lacklustre. Graeme's portfolio is one of those rare gems, it requires no polishing, and always shines whenever you take it out. Thanks for always surprising us mate."

"graeme is one of my favorite flickr contributers.

i find that graeme's photos immediately stand out in the groups they are in. i think his style is considered and thoughtful, yet his photos maintain a spontanaeity that keeps his shots fresh and engaging. as 'our man in china' he's giving us lucky folks who call him a contact a window into the rapidly changing city of dalian.

perhaps equal to his captivating photography is his highly perceptive writing, in his descriptions and in his comments. not one to be content with simple brief comments, graeme really looks at the photos he comments on and creates a dialogue that helps one understand and appreciate the fine art of image making."
