I will shoot hockey within a 3-hour drive of Columbus (which includes 3 junior teams, 4 CCHA teams, 3 ECHL teams, 1 CHL team, 1 AHL team, and 3 NHL teams). In 2010-11, I'm regularly shooting the OSU, Miami University and BGSU men's varsity teams, as well as The Big Chill, CCHA Tournament, and Columbus Blue Jackets.

I have studied digital photography at Columbus State Community College. I also have a B.S.e.d. with Magna Cum Laude honors in Sports Management from The Ohio State University. I primarily shoot ice hockey and baseball since these are the two sports I'm most familiar with, and as one season is ending, the other is starting and vice versa. As a hockey player myself, I am partial to ice hockey since I can anticipate what is going to happen. I have been team photographer for the Ohio State Women's Club Ice Hockey Team since 2006. I also played for the OSU Women's Club Ice Hockey Team 2003-06. I had been a photographer for the summer collegiate baseball team, the Columbus All-Americans, 2005-08. I spent the 2008-09 hockey season shooting OSU and Miami for Palestra.net. I also spent 2008-09 traveling to Wheeling and Dayton shooting various Nailers and Bombers games. I've been shooting for USCHO.com and InsideHockey.com since the 2009-10 season.

I am a fan of panning shots, frozen action, close-ups and hockey goaltenders. One of my biggest goals is to photographically document an ice hockey rookie as he embarks on his first season as a professional, preferably starting with his draft into the NHL. I would also like to put together a goaltender photography book since I love taking photos of goalies.
