I enjoy...love...taking photos. I don't have a specific genre as I am still trying to figure out where my passion and talent (if any) lies, but I think most photographers enjoy immortalizing what they love; for me it's capturing world culture/scenery through traveling and the grace and elegance of women in particular. That must have been a run-on sentence.
There's something about being a fish out of the water, injected into a foreign land, surrounded by unfamiliar culture, languages, manners, food, color, and people that humbles my soul. Even the most innocuous objects and moments...the simple life fascinates me endlessly. I'm also nostalgic. My Brazilian friends call it saudade and it's that melancholy longing to relive the past that drives me to freeze the moment in time to be relived over and over again.
A woman's form is stunning! The lines are soft, curvy, toned, sleek...dare I say aerodynamic...svelte...beautiful. I think there's a fine line between beauty of nudity and porn. I try my best to be artistic; I'm still learning. Flickr has been a wonderful teacher. So many talented photographers.
