people say to me that they enjoy my photos but i always tell them..the world is out there and this 'stuff' is there for free but also there to freezeframe and keep forever,be it on paper,disc,memory card or just in the minds eye.memories are evocative places to go to...lose yourself.
go have a daydream...in these times of recession and money being tight,go and troll through your mind pictures.....a daydream costs absolutely nothing,go on..you know you want to.x

guess wot----------one my hobbies is -wait for it----photography,not in a 'heavy' way but alot of the time is just for fun
i am always happy to make new friends and love to troll through people pics
am happiest looking into others lives through fun and laughter--essentials in life i say!!

    "Margaret thinks she takes snaps but in reality she is creating a record of a passing landscape and times by catching the mundane as well as the grand sweeping vistas of a vanishing landscape.
    When you can't remember what an After Eight looks like, turn to her photographs. When you want to remember Coniston after it has been altered in the future, turn to the same place. It will, luckily, all be here.
    Thats what I love about her work, she may not always recognise it, but she is a chronicler of her age."

Thanks to her pictures,I have been introduced to the beauty of so many places I've never seen,as a result of being a lifelong non motorist.The composition of her landscapes is outstanding,as is her eye for colour combinations. Her ability to see that taking a picture from an unusual angle or a low viewpoint produces some superb results,and her pictures taken into the light,particularly towards the end of the day,are stunning. But she has the knack of making seemingly uninteresting,ordinary things make you sit up and take notice. All in all a very versatile photographer and one whose work I wholeheartedly recommend that you should spare time to take a good look at - you won't be disappointed.
