The San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Planning Process, is a process that is working towards the creation of a regional vision to ensure that California’s fastest growing region will thrive in the 21st century. The process has allowed the eight counties of the San Joaquin Valley an opportunity to work together to develop better land use and transportation patterns.

The San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Planning Process is a joint effort of the Council of Fresno Governments, the Kern Council of Governments, the Kings County Association of Governments, Madera County Transportation Commission, the Merced County Association of Governments, San Joaquin Council of Governments, Stanislaus Council of Governments, the Tulare County Association of Governments and the Great Valley Center. The funding for the Blueprint process is provided by the Business, Transportation & Housing Agency through the California Department of Transportation, as well as the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.
