I got my first camera when I was 12jr old. I started with black and white film and spend almost all my pocket money on photo's.

When I got married and had children, (artistic) photography moved to the background. I took photo's of the kids once and a while, but that was it!

After my divorce, I slowly started to take pictures again.

The real turning point was the digital camera(no more money spent on mishaps). When I saw a 2Mpx camera under 100 guilders, I bought it.(That was really cheap in 2003) My very first photo's on flickr were taken with that camera (a Trust 950 PowerC@m Zoom). But the colour chip on that camera was problematic. Almost every photo I took had to be colour adjusted.

So I started looking for another one. That other one is my current camera, a Kodak EasyShare Z740. I'm still very happy with this one.

Most of my pictures are landscape, but I try to be a little more creative also. Seeing all these photo's on flickr has been and still is a big inspiration.
