I carry a camera nearly everywhere I go (I choose handbags which can handle the size and weight) - to the market in the morning, on a walk with the dog, out for dinner in the evening, and, of course, any travel we do.

Italy is extremely photogenic and I don't want to miss a bit of it. But the more I take pictures, the more I understand that in any environment there is a lovely shot. I love light, architecture, landscapes, agriculture, flora, and yep, even kittens and puppies.

I've recently seen my photos (sometimes with a link back or credit, sometimes not) on blogs or community websites. Chances are good, I'll allow their use, just PLEASE ASK ME first!

I alternate posting photos I took today with the thousands of others I've taken during the last 5 years.

I do general edits with photoshop elements and I like playing with effects once in awhile -- watercolor is especially fun.
