I am a mother of three grown children and am a delighted new grandmother. I live now on beautiful Bowen Island and make the short ferry commute several times a week into Vancouver where I work as a nurse, doing overnight respite shifts for children with round-the-clock medical needs.

I love roaming about the island taking in the joys of forest and mountains and ocean that lured me here six years ago. Deer are everywhere and often very tame, the ones who come to my back yard are a favourite subject for my beginning forays into photography.
