I got my first DSLR (and very first camera) since August 2005, but I've only really gotten serious in photography since January 2007. It has been a great journey on learning different tricks and developing the artistic side of my brain.
Joining Flickr in 2007 has allowed me to meet some really talented people (online and in person) and helped me improve quickly in photography. I'm here to learn, so comments/criticisms are very much appreciated and welcome. I really try to make an effort to visit all my contacts' streams and check out all the great photos as often as possible, so I have decided to keep my contact list short. If I've made you a contact, you can be sure that I will be actively visiting your stream whenever I am online. :)
I normally carry my newest additon (D300) and two lenses (50mm f/1.8 and Tokina 12-24mm f/4) with me. I also have a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens that I adore and use whenever I have time.

"I don't know Gina in real life, and of course there is a very real possibility that she is actually a freakish psychopath living in a dark lair, tucked away from all that is normal and beautiful humanity, but I like her a lot. Thus, when I say that I think Gina and I could really kick back and have some drinks and some laughs together in real life, this should be taken as the highest of compliments.
