Life's been good: my body doesn't hurt every second; there's food, music, stories, beds to share with loved ones; I get to read, write, translate; I can teach what I know to kids who will grow up thinking and smiling, ready to move and be moved. I get to be in awe of the world quite often, I also get to cry a lot and release some stress from my bloodstream. I'm not happy-go-lucky, no; there's a part of me that actually looks forward to that comet which is supposed to crash into Earth and obliterate us all. I hate winters, but, hey, trees probably hate them as well and still manage to get by and all the way into spring.
