Simpol is "Global grassroots co-operation in action"

The key barrier to change under the present system of politics is that governments are unable to act alone to solve global problems due to the risk of damaging the competitiveness of their industries. Also, global policies that affect us all are presently being set behind closed doors where big businesses have most influence and voters very little.

Simpol (the Simultaneous Policy) is people around the world coming together to vote in a new way to drive our governments to co-operate with each other to solve global problems such as climate change, poverty and injustice.

Simpol policies strong enough to solve global problems are to be implemented simultaneously by governments and therefore in a risk free way. What’s more, Simpol policies are being chosen, and will ultimately be set in an open source, people centered way.
