I’ve been tagged so here’s 16 things about myself.

1. been there, seen it all, done it all....forgotten most of it.
2. I hate and detest advertisements and avoid them like the plague !
3. I like graceful things and things done in style.
4. There is a special place in my heart for animals.
5. I moan quite a bit but it’s because I’m a perfectionist !
6. I love carnations and the colour green oxide of chromium.
7. I am lucky and grateful because I’m talented.
8. I like to make people feel good but still learning patience !
9. I’m useless in selling my wares !
10. I can fix almost anything !!
11. the ultimate spiritual act is to be of service to others....I try.
12. My pencils are always sharp and my brushes clean and rinsed.
13. I’m bi-lingual so from this I understand there’s always two sides to a story !!
14. People without fine manners are a turnoff to me : worse than body odour !
15. I like to cry sometimes and I like to think that I have a sense of humour.
16. I have compassion for suffering .

Now, a little about myself....I'm both lazy and a miserable ghit. Only kidding.........!

I am first an artist I suppose, then a photographer. But I think one and other are like a horse and carriage. I like to think that I am an imaginative kind that likes to transport himself on inspirational trips that are not necessarily of this realm here on earth, although I use props that are all around us like leaves and flowers and trees. I hope you enjoy and perhaps find some inspiration yourself from my images-----if you do please let me know as it would make me feel very good to know I have done something for somebody. I will visit you when you hit on my pics leaving a comment.... which is always welcome and I will rteciprocate as soon as I can.

Creating great images is what all photographers aspire to : It’s a very exciting past time but for me
it’s a bit more than that. I started many years ago with a Praktica and 35 mm B/W. All the magic was born out of the darkroom in all-night sessions ! All Self taught .
I am not a Photoshop freak as a lot of us are, but use
Corel Photoshop Pro X2 and Jasc Paint Shop Pro as well
as Serif PagePlus and allied packages.

I am a graphic artist / designer (now retired) and I w i l l do some enhancing if I think it would improve a photo.
I regard a digital tool as I would a paint brush or an airbrush, I paint what I see in my imagination as we all do.
I still paint and draw manually too.


I get excited, also, about other interests , mainly Jewellery making and now I also tinker with
Polymer Clay.

In the Flickr community I was influenced by the amazing Art of OOB. (Out Of Bounds) Photography , which involves intense Digital manipulation. Mainly, it is to do with making cut outs which I spend an inordinate amount of time doing but I do enjoy it very much (the graphic artist in me).
I use a Pen Tablet.

I like being a little outrageous and I love variety and diversity.

I like helping anyone who needs assistance in any way I can. I don’t mind criticism and sometimes I

I love Music, all kinds. Religion ? I am a born-again non-believer in anything Orthodox !

I think getting to know Mother Earth is much underrated and more natural than man-made religions !!

I know some Latin and a lot about Christianity but it is a subject that is not very clever, but that is just my opinion.


A lot of blood spilt wearing the badge of religion. But if you find you need it then go for it as long as you try to keep an open mind ! You should not be dictated what to believe !

I believe in The Ultimate Intelligence which is evident when I look through the camera lens. Using the camera is teaching me to look and to see, and then I find myself !

I always burn incence , I have my favourites , mostly of Indian origin. I listen to music most of the time . . .could not live without it !

This fellow PussPuss is one best Friend of mine. He is with me most of the time and he is my No. 1 subject in
front of the lens !!
Sadly, he has now gone to the Rainbow Bridge and I always think about him !
I also have an Airedale Terrier , lovely and with doggytude !
I love and respect all animals !

I Also have great respect and am in awe of our T r e e s.
