Lye Tuck-Po says:
"Follow Visual Impact as he enters the core of Montreal, stand to one side as he trains his camera on mundane objects and settings, look over his shoulder when he turns the knobs and dials on his D70s.... then wait in the next room as he frets and fusses in his digital lab.... I wish I could.
VI knows his photography. He knows what a camera is. He knows what it does. He understands images. He can capture them, manipulate them, talk about them.
I just wish he wouldn't take so many photos of drunken teddy bears (no, not really).
What I really wish is that there were more like him on Flickr. VI is creative in his approach, determined in his artistry, disciplined in his focus, and generous with his insights and knowledge.
This is a man you want to know, a stream you want to visit. Do it. You'll be enthralled and intrigued. And you'll be chuckling a lot. I promise it."25th September, 2007

Decrepit Telephone says:
"V.I. is one of those rare photographers on Flickr who has a very good knowledge as to the workings of the camera, correct settings and proper, technically perfected composition. In a way, his photography blends a form of science and art that leads to some very interesting, and sometimes surprising results - all of which are great to look at, and make for interesting conversation. He is truly an artist with the camera."

3rd foundation says:
"Dale is one of those rare photographers on flickr that is genuinely interested in other people's photos and helping them get better. He is also not afraid to experiment with new photographic techniques and I always enjoy seeing what he comes up with next."
