Cheers everybody,

my name is Silke and I am a mom of two, working as a cook at the moment but also study anthropology and live in Iceland. Photography has been a hobby for a very long time but digital photography just for a short time. I don´t know much about the technical side of photography yet, still trying things out :)

But here in this page you´ll find a LOT of þhotos, I am still at the stage where I am taking pics of everything that crosses my way. I will put a new page together later when I have found a "stile" that suits me. That hasn´t happend so far but I like pictures which are "alive", tell a story or have the famous "kodak- moment". I am not that much of a landscape photographer, you can still find some landscape pics though. One of my idols is the one and only Joe McNally.

When I bought my first macro lense, the Canon 60mm 2.8, I started to experiment a litle in this area too. But otherwise I use now a Canon 40D and my lenses are the Canon 70-200mm L 4 IS and the Canon 24-70mm L 2.8.
