i have now trekked the great ranges 4 times.

coming to this part of the world was like meeting friends i had heard much about - the south face of lhotse, the pass of april 27th, the border of tibet, the shining wall...

i've been around dhaulagiri, across to annapurna base camp and then to muktinath (apr/may/june 08).

i've walked the 3 passes of solukhumbhu and out to jiri and then visited bhaktapur(dec/jan 09)

i've been around manaslu and into the lamjung himalaya and to langtang valley (dec/jan 10)

i've ridden the karakoram highway and walked the baltoro glacier and back again (aug 11)

every time i visit the great mountains, i love them more and more...it is a place where i have never felt more alive.
