I started Alcatraz Media in 1999, and continue to operate the business on a daily basis. It began as an accidental company. The story is too long to post here, but it is a funny one.

I like to travel and photograph vacation destinations and tourist attractions around the world. As a registered travel agent, I am able to work while I enjoy tours and activities in places like London, Paris, Florence, Sydney, Beijing, Las Vegas, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Miami, and Hawaii, to name a few.

For Christmas 2008, I received a wonderful gift. Not one, but two new cameras. One for professional quality photos (Canon 5D) and a pocket-sized replacement (Sony DSC T700). I am really enjoying both.
