update, 3 november 2011 on 1 november 2011 i received an invitation from Getty!!!!! i am over the moon about this!!! onto the next adventure!!!! i'm ready!!!!
i am an artist who paints with my cameras, a hand quilter and a creative person on a wonderful journey accompanied by my ever-sweet musician-teacher husband. we are joined by our cats annie, oona and parker daily and by our daughter and daughter-in-law often.
the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people on flickr is all mine! sharing moments of your lives in amazing photographs is such a gift--the sacred daily life photos and the fantastic artistic feats and everything in between! realizing that all of us, all over the globe, are really so similar while we travel our journey. thank you all for your willingness to share and enjoy!
AND NOW MY RULES (i say this gently but firmly):
because there is a less savory side to everything, please do not favorite any of my photos if you have none posted yourself; and
while I have a great love of the human form, there is a distinction between a lovely photo and pornography. If your photos are questionable I will block you and any comments you may make on mine.
