I am a freelance journalist, soon turning photojournalist based in Italy. I write for several Italian magazines and papers. I have recently travelled to Iran to cover the 2005 Presidential elections for Il Messaggero daily of Rome, Italy's fourth largest national newspaper. Core interests include the Middle East and the Arab world, and the rise of Shiism as a transnational political force in modern times.
I am fluent in Persian, Italian and English. I don't smoke or drink and am addicted to western and persian classical music and football. I munch a bit of Modern European history and waste no time cycling around in my spare time. Thanks for stopping by my photostream, hope you enjoy it!
