I decided it was about time to update the profile. I'm an enthusiastic amateur photographer in Seattle. I've been very lucky to be able to work with a lot of great models, and I love showing off the photos we've made together to people able to appreciate them.

I guess we're supposed to state whether or not we're over 21 now. I am.

A few thoughts on comments:
- I love getting comments
- I'm happy to get comments praising my photos, or constructive criticism about my photos.
- I don't mind if you want to tell me my photos suck, though I'd like to know why you think that. I can learn from comments like that, too.
- Please don't post any comments that are disrespectful to my models. If you want to comment on their beauty, no problem, but please refrain from detailing any intimate acts you'd like to do to/with them. I don't like to remove comments, but I will if necessary.
- Please don't include links to other sites in your comment unless it's integral to the comment. I'd rather you didn't use my photos to advertise your site.
- Group invites are not comments unless you actually enter a comment to go with them.
- Favorites are not comments. Favorites are a way for you to mark a photo so you can easily find it again later. Favorites are for you, comments are for me.
- If you're thinking about writing me a flickrmail to say how much you like my photos, please consider commenting a few of them instead. It really will mean a lot more to me.

A few thoughts on Contacts/Friends/Family:
- If you like my photos, feel free to add me as a contact.
- If I like your photos, I'll add you as a contact.
- Some of my photos are not safe for work. Keep that in mind before adding me as a contact.
- I will not add you as a friend just because you add me as a friend. There's gotta be more of a reason than that.
- If you have no photos of your own posted, I will not add you as a contact or friend.
- If your photostream is a collection of porn or other photos you stole from the internet, I will not add you as a contact or friend. Seriously. Copyrights, people. Please respect them.
- I do have a few photos that are marked for friends only. If you'd like me to add you as a friend, send me a message and ask (though keep the previous two points in mind).
- If I know you personally, any of the points above might be waived.

A few thoughts on copyrights:
- I took all the photos in my photostream and I retain the copyrights
- I post a notice under all my photos asking you not to repost them or blog them. I am serious about that.
- If I find one of my photos in your photostream, I'll begin my assuming it's simply an error on your part and ask you to remove it. This has happened on several occasions, and most of the time the offending party has been good enough to remove it when I asked. If necessary, though, I will file a notice of copyright infringement with Yahoo. I hope that won't be necessary because it's a pain in the ass.

A few thoughts on invitations to post to your group:
- I am flattered that you want me to add my photo to your group.
- If you're asking me to post to a private group, be sure to send me an invitation to join it as well. If I can't see the group, I obviously will not be posting anything to it.
- If your group allows posting photos stolen from the internet, I will not be posting my photos there.
- If you've asked me to post several of my photos to your group, and I've declined every request, please stop asking.

Okay, that's all for now. I hope I didn't come across as too much of an ass, but I wanted to make myself clear about a few gripes I've had. I've considered making my entire photostream friends only, but I'd really rather not do that.

"Why is it that we usually see so many female nudes and so few male nudes? Discovering Fauxtographer's photostream was fantastic, because I haven't seen such beautiful photos of the male body anywhere else. His images are sheer perfection, with fantastic lighting and lines, and when these qualities are put together with the beautiful models that he uses, we get gorgeous, romantic and very sensual portraits.
Thank you for your beautiful images!"
