Former airline pilot and finance professional. I still fly but mainly doing aerial photography and advanced flight instruction. Aerial photography is my speciality but I love all that photography has to offer.

I started flying in 1978 and since then I have flown professionally and personally accumulating 6,000 hours in all types of aircraft from single-engine Cessna's to McDonnell Douglas MD-80's.

Photography has always been a passion of mine. Now, with the technology of the Internet, digital cameras, software, etc., my desire to explore photography has reached new heights. (no pun intended)

I like to add an artistic touch or enhancements to certain images but I also like untouched images for the purity. Photography is as much an art as science. I'm still learing both with so much more ahead to explore. The work of many amateurs and pros on Flickr is amazing. It is great competition and a measuring stick for me. Many times I fail to measure up which is incentive to keep trying harder.
