I am a father & husband that lives in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia.

Having developed a passion for taking pictures in the last couple of years. I love to get out when I can to capture those moments that would have otherwise been missed.
I try hard to not just post the same style/type of shots as I think that can become a little boring. Although I do not seem to do "people" shots well enough to add yet.

I have become a devoted Canon user and love the equipment side of things as well.
Started with a Canon 40D, 10-22, 16-35, 35, 60 macro, 24-105, 70-200 f2.8 IS. 430EX, 580EXII.
Photoshop CS4, photomatix.
Upgraded to the Canon 5D MkII, 135mm f2 (Brilliant), 35mm f1.4, 50mm f1.2, 14mm f2.8 and CS5. Gitzo and Feisol tripods, Really Right Stuff and Markens Ballheads.

Flickr has been so inspiring with an incredible number of talented people. I enjoy checking my contacts each day to see what masterpieces they have created.
