i am practising photography since last 30 years. those days were of b&w photography, then came colour and now it is digital. nearly 400 photographs were published in local newspapers, magazines etc. took part in exhibitions/competitions. also got yen 10000 award in asia & the pacific contest in 1988(tokyo,japan). i also organised 4 all india photography competitions, one MP STATE level contest and one contest for local journalists in 2001. the 4 all india competitions were recognised by FIP, kolkata and IIPC, new delhi, where i got the opportunity to receive entries from top photographers from all over india. the competitions were organised in memory my son Anurag Shroti(who was a local reputed photographer and died at the tender age of 22 yrs.only,in 1995. )under the club'S BRAND name Anurag Shroti Memorial Photography Club(ASMPC). the club received nearly 1500 entries every year. the exhibitions were inaugurated by ministers, eminent personalities and the last one by the then Governor of M.P. TO DIVE DEEP INTO PHOTOGRAPHY is like any other art where perfection is needed. i like shooting scenery and the public.

recently, i have been awarded "Life Time Achievement Award" in the service of photography by a local reputed social event managrment orgn. on 'World Photography Day' i.e 19 aug'07. a M.P. level photo exhibition was organised from 19 to 21 aug'07, consisting of 200 photographs. photographers, members of public and photojournalists were present on this occasion.
