A Photographer and a Naturalist

Photography is a passion for me that only increases with every passing day. I love everything about it – the art, the craft, the travel, the ecstasy of a great shot, the learnings from missed opportunities. Not a single session passes by without my learning something.

I am also the founder of DARTER. DARTER presents photography expeditions conducted by me and Arun Bhat.

The naturalist bit. As you’d have noticed, my favorite “genre” in photography is wildlife photography. Well, I always had a fascination for the natural world. I’d been watching and photographing animals of all shapes and sizes. Over time, it graduated into a keen interest in birds. And there was no looking back. In terms of formal training, I’ve attended the Naturalist Training Program conducted by Jungle Lodges and Resorts. Of course, there is no substitute to nature’s playground.
