Chong Li-Chuan (a.k.a Chuan) is a musician by training, composer by choice, a practicing sonic artist, and an academic at large. He is currently the Programme Chair for the Diploma in Design for Interactivity, under the School of Technology for the Arts, at Republic Polytechnic (Singapore). His research interest includes, but is not limited to, acoustic ecology, aurality, listening, sound and semblance, the aesthetics of noise and silence, musicking, identity formation, gender, performativity, embodiment, and post-structuralism.
