"I've only known Tate online for about 7 or 8 yrs roughly. He's always been a fun, talented, and caring friend to me throughout the years. Always has a great sense of humor, and a creative mind. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching his photography skills be honed and fine-tuned into what it is today.... very solid & explorative to the max. I've learned a lot just from his info and knowledge he's shared on the subject of photography and hope to learn & grow with photography myself once I get a good camera.

He's also one of the coolest fathers I've seen. Really spends time with his son and takes a whole-hearted interest in his hobbies, education, and recreation. And still skateboarding hardcore to this day.. that's something I wish I was still able to do myself. He'd win a Dad of the Year contest anyday I bet heh.

I haven't met Tate yet in person, but if my health permits... hope to visit him in October for his wedding. Otherwise if not then, then someday for sure :). Keep doing what you do Tate... and always keep it real & fun man."

"Tate and I have definitely been through our fair share of ups and downs in the 2 years that we have known each other. But even in the really low moments, there was always something pulling us back (usually a WHOLE lot of laughter). I can honestly say though, I never thought it would be this good, this right. He is my best friend, my heart. It took awhile, but I found my happy place...its a lot warmer and a lot cozier than I thought it would ever be! Thank you for loving me."

"I've known Tate for many many years but have only met him in person once. Tate knows how to make and keep friends even if they are online.

My favorite thing about viewing his photostream is living vicariously through his relationship with his son. If I could pick a dad when I was little it probably would have been him.
