Located within the Texas Medical Center, the school provides a unique collaborative research and learning environment in Biomedical Informatics. The school’s mission is interdisciplinary graduate education and research, bringing together the engineering, computer and biological sciences. The educational programs lead to a Certificate, Masters degree or a Doctoral degree in Health Informatics. Focus areas include: Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Computational Biomedicine, Learning & Technology, and Public Health Informatics.

The school’s important work will define the future of healthcare: researchers will have better tools to advance treatments and cures; doctors will have better diagnostics and ways to access information; and patients will have better access to personalized care…anywhere…anytime.
