Shine Global is a non for profit film production company dedicated to ending the abuse and exploitation of children worldwide through the production of documentary films and other media.
All contributions to Shine are used to produce our films. Net profits are returned to the children we document through local non-governmental agencies.
Our first film, WAR DANCE, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary in 2007 and won over 20 festival awards. It was directed by Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine and produced by Albie Hecht and Susan MacLaury, the founders of Shine Global.

HARVEST, our second project, will document the plight of the estimated 500,000 children who work as migrant farm workers in the United States. Robin Romano is our director/cinematographer, and Rory O'Connor will act as producer. Executive producers are Albie Hecht and Susan MacLaury.
