Some of my images may not be usable in any context as I do not have model releases for them, or they may contain images which belong to other copyright holders - in which case you may need to seek further permission from third parties.

I generally expect to be paid for the right to use a picture for a commercial project (you are going to charge people for it; it's free but you get financed through advertisements; etc) but feel free to ask anyway.

I take pictures to describe, and to remember. I'm attracted by colour, shapes, shadow and light, or just a fleeting expression on a face.

This site hosts pictures of our life in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Australia and Oman. I've also included pictures of the jewelry I've been making since May 2005, and chronicles of our life with the birds Tinkerbell and Yingshiong, Riamfada, LiBai, Oberon, and Jacky.

I am currently using two cameras: the compact Canon Ixus 1000IS and the ultra-zoom Panasonic Lumix FZ28. I use my iPhone 4 too.

Older pictures are from a whole range of cameras, from the original Canon Ixus to cameras from Olympus and Panasonic.
