My parents are both Egyptian but I was born in Australia and grew up and still live in Geneva (except one year in NYC).
I am finishing up my degree in Management with a Minor in Media Communications which took me for ever since I was working full time at Citigroup to pay for school..! When I'm done in may I would like to find a job in advertising or marketing...
I have always been kind of interested in photography but never did anything about it, so I finally decided to buy a reflex camera (Sony Alpha 100) and started taking pictures with no prior training or knowledge. I acquired some knowledge about it through a 6 months internship I did in a video production company and some reading on the net. This is why I think Flickr can be great for me to get more familiar with this form of art throough other people's comments and by asking a lot of questions in the groups.
