I am definitely an amateur photographer, but I have always loved taking pictures of everything since I got a 110 camera for Christmas when I was 9 or 10. I desperately needed to find a hobby after some recent changes in my life and I found photography to be a great outlet for my energies and a way to show my love for bugs, flowers, birds, animals and nature in general. It has turned into not only an obsession, but a good way to get outside and clear my head or show my kids a bit of what nature has to offer.
I currently own a Canon 50D and three lenses; 60mm f/2.8 macro USM, 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM, and 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM.
I still have a lot to learn, but hope you enjoy my attempts.
