I'm moving my photos from Flickr to SmugMug - shellerae.smugmug.com/.

Flickr's print partner uses Wal_Mart who audits and reports photos based on "Good Christian Conscious". Parents have lost at least temporarily custody of their children for simple memory photos like babies on the furry rugs. No good parent should have to deal with CPS over a picture of their child on a furry rug or in the bath tub playing.

As an artist whose child travels with them and experiences events like Burning Man, Ren Faires and other non traditional family friendly artistic expressions I refuse to "allow" Wal-Mart access to my life. I also personally find their treatment of vendors (been one), employees, and general community appalling. I disagree as well with their extreme use of Chinese imports (though they are certainly not alone in this one).

This was an outlet; for my art, for a portion of my passions and a story of where I've been and what I've experienced.
