She'll Be Apples' photostream  

I am a Canadian woman, currently living in Perth, Australia with my husband and 4 kids who are all despairingly, teenagers. I started with photography with a point and shoot I bought for a trip to Australia (Go figure).

On a recent trip to Japan, I cried at the pathetic images that my POS cam was producing and marvelled at the camera of another traveller I met up with in Mt Fuji.

His enthusiasm for photography and stellar ability to make every shot we took in common look spectacular (while mine fizzled) shot me into the world of DLSR.

I'm currently exploring, trying everything I can, and enjoying seeing the wonderful place that I live in, through a whole new light (or should that be lens?)

Someday I might pick a speciality, but for now variety is the spice of life!
