Sheffield FC are recognised by FIFA as the worlds first football club.....formed in 1857.

Our aim is to be every football fans second favorite football club...if you are a fan of football you should be a fan of Sheffield FC and recognise the game of football globally. At first Sheffield FC played against each other - married men against unmarried men, first letter of the alphabet against second letter of the alphabet....that was until three years later when Sheffield FC persuaded another local sheffield club to form, Hallam, and competitive team football was born.

Form the worlds first Football rule book to the origination of many of the aspects of football that we see in everyday play today Sheffield FC are steeped in footballing history.
